Kennels (owned by Lori E. Tracy) has been an ASCA registered kennel
name since 1992. I first started with Aussies quite by accident
when I met my first one in 1988 that became my best friend, mentor,
and student, as well as canine soulmate. His name was Tracy's
Fair Dinkum BoomR, AKC/ASCA CDX - BoomR for short.
Through BoomR I developed my passion and respect for this breed,
and because of him I always strive to produce the soundest dogs
in body and mind. I try to stay true to this breed and maintain
a high standard of breeding ethics as set out in the guidelines
of ASCA. All parents of my puppies have been cleared of hip dysplasia
via OFA or PennHIP, eyes are cleared of any anomolies via current
CERF exams, current Endrinconology panels are done to determine
Thyroid levels, and temperaments (of parents and lines) are carefully
studied prior to breeding.
Any dogs or puppies that I have bred and place are dual registered
with ASCA and AKC, and come with full guarantees for health issues
as well as temperament. All of my litters are CERF examined to
clear them of any eye anomolies prior to going to new homes. All
pet/companion puppies are placed with spay/neuter contracts only,
and the show quality puppies are carefully placed on co-ownerships,
with very specific contracts pertaining to their showing and breeding.
Prospective new owners are carefully screened prior to their receiving
a puppy or dog from me and I am active in the selection process
based upon their homes and life-styles.

I
enjoy wonderful relationships with all my dogs' owners, maintain
an email list just for them on MSN, and am always available to them
24/7 for any questions or problems that arise. IT IS MY POLICY TO
TAKE BACK ANY DOG AT ANY TIME DURING THEIR LIFETIME FOR ANY REASON
THEY CANNOT STAY WITH THEIR NEW OWNERS.
I am always available to assist, educate, and mentor anyone that
is interested in owning, competing with, and/or possibly breeding
Australian Shepherds-whether they have any dogs bred by me or not.
I believe in sharing information in order to have this wonderful
breed flourish and assure the dogs enjoy a long and healthy life.
I handle all my own dogs in both the conformation and obedience
rings. I will also be learning herding and agilty in the next year
or so to be able to compete in those venues as well.
I hope you enjoy my site as much as I did creating it. Please contact
me with any questions you may have about the breed, my dogs, my
kennel, or myself. :-) |
